Job Description
Brief Description:
The Support Analyst will assist with the technical design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's enterprise systems. The successful candidate will have a deep and broad knowledge of audio-visual systems, physical / virtual servers, networking, and project management methodologies.
This position will report to the IT Supervisor.
Detailed Description:Collaborate with a geographically dispersed Infrastructure group to successfully plan, implement, and complete IT Infrastructure project initiatives.Meet with key business leaders to obtain project scopes and effectively communicate requirements to Infrastructure group for planning and project approval.Assist in the day-to-day management of cloud and on-prem infrastructures to include Barco, Crestron, Service Now, Cisco Meraki, Okta, AWS Workspace, Intune, AppSpace and Office 365.Handle security, maintenance and monitoring of enterprise systems.Responsible for the automation of common tasks and processes.Maintain all document technical configuration and procedures.Training end users.Assist in afterhours maintenance windows.Perform related duties as assigned.Image personal computers and configure the machine for use by Company's employees.Job Requirements
Clear and effective communication in documenting problems and implementing solutions including partnering with end users.Excellent written and verbal English communications skills.Possess logical, organized work skills including the prioritization and timely resolution of multiple tasks involving simultaneous projects and issues.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills for data analysis, data manipulation, and reporting.Experience using Microsoft Visio for creating process flowcharts and diagrams.Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for collaboration and project management.Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.Understand data flow throughout the local area network and wide area network systems.Ability to work under stress, meet multiple deadlines and maintain a calm and professional demeanor when adversity is encountered.Knowledge of current personal computer hardware components.Display ability to interact effectively and courteously with all staff, management, and operations personnel.Requires the physical ability to occasionally lift items weighing up to 45 pounds, such as rack mounted servers, switches, batteries, and network appliances.Must be available to work outside of normal business hours when necessary.Occasional travel required (less than 10%).Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or relevant field of study or 5+ years in experience.3+ years of experience in a Systems Administrator / support, Project management or similar rolePreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, EngineeringTechnical knowledge and understanding of process control systems and data acquisition and analytics platforms.Cloud Administration experience (Barco, Crestron)Data Analysis experience (PowerBi, Tableau)Project management Certification (PMP, SCM, Six SigmaProject management systems experience (Monday, Smartsheets)Scripting / Automation (Power automate, etc.)
Additional Details:
Work is primarily in a climate controlled / office environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential. The employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time, stand, or walk with occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending and frequent near vision use for reading and use of computer, telephone and other office equipment. The job may require some overtime, including weekends or holidays and occasional travel is required.
No relocation assistance is available for this role. Preference will be given to qualified candidates willing to relocate within reasonable daily commuting distance to the Company's Houston, Texas facility.
