Summary

The

Electrical Planner

is responsible for coordinating and managing the electrical maintenance planning and scheduling requirements for our Chesapeake, VA facility.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Schedule routine, preventive, and predictive electrical activities to ensure the maximum availability and longevity of assetsProvide technical planning and scheduling support for electrical activitiesDevelop, prepare, and distribute electrical management reportsProvide data and information for the budget preparation, tracking, and analysisPerform trend and cost analysis for vendors and electrical projectsEnsure all work is completed in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental requirementsMinimum Education

HS Diploma OR GED

requiredBS Degree (Information Technology, Industrial Technology, and Electronics)

preferredExperience Requirements

5 - 7 years of previous experiencePrevious PLC experienceUnderstanding of standard software applicationsUnderstanding of manufacturing technologiesStrong mechanical/electrical skillsStrong communication, math, organizational, and analytical skills

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Able to move freely throughout the AgriBusiness facilities including climbing vertical heights (0 - 150'), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db - hearing protection required) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available). Required to travel to remote AgriBusiness facilities. Able to use standard office equipment.
