As a Property Accountant, your primary responsibilities include making journal entries, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial statements, managing accounts receivable, and handling daily and monthly cash disbursements and receipts.

Additional Responsibilities:Reconcile Accounts Receivable, security deposits, and rent rolls to ensure accuracy in financial statements for all properties.Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports, which include journal entries, financial statements, and bank reconciliations.Assist in the preparation of annual budgets by gathering key assumptions and capital budget information.Analyze general ledger accounts and review ledger accuracy.Manage cash functions effectively.Research and respond to inquiries from Property Managers concerning tenant statements.What You Should Bring:

Knowledge of real estate databases and transaction processes, including contract reviews.Understanding of accounting principles and procedures.Experience in accounting for multifamily real estate.Proficiency in Excel.What You Will Be Part Of:
