Damar is currently seeking a talented and motivated Damar Village Manager whose primary responsibilities are performing administrative and office support activities for the Damar Village. These activities include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, club house scheduling, and staff assistance.

Responsible for the welfare and quality of the entire property.
Works closely with CLASS staff to ensure activities and activity center are available when needed for Tenants and wavier clients.
Ensures quality of property including cleanliness, safety, and beauty.
Ensures the Activity Center check-ins.
Manages scheduled events in The Damar Village Club House and Activity Center by assisting with reservations, configuring rooms to host’s specifications, and maintaining appearance of the rooms.
Makes sure all equipment is in good shape and safe in then Activity Center.
Walks the property daily to ensure safety and quality.
Interacts with Tenants respectfully and with enthusiasm/encouragement.
Ensures tenants at Franklin Complex have access to the Activity Center and Village resources including transportation.
Ensures welfare and quality of Franklin Property.
Works closely with real estate and leasing agent on needs and timing as well as resources for tenants.
Responsible for upkeep and cleanliness of kitchen, restrooms and administration office.
Signs for and distributes UPS/FedEx or similarly delivered packages to appropriate personnel.
Prepares and processes outgoing mail to include: accurate weighing; coding, sorting, affixing postage, properly addressing, preparing certified/overnight/return receipt mail and purchasing additional postage via postage by phone.
What you need to be considered...
High School Diploma or GED.
Hospitality experience preferred.
Minimum age of 21 depending on program and / or department requirements.
Must meet and maintain background screening requirements for all Damar Programs as detailed in policy 1.HR.02 Pre-Employment and Employee Background Checks.
Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier.
Successful completion of pre-employment physical required.

Physical : Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
Vision : See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hearing : Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
