Ignition is a software platform developed by Inductive Automation for creating supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), human machine interface (HMI) applications and industrial automation solutions.
Key features of Ignition include:•Cross-platform compatibility: It runs on Windows, Linux, and macOS, leveraging Java technology for its runtime environment.•Modular architecture: Ignition is designed with a modular architecture, allowing uto expand functionality by adding modules for specific needs such as alarming, reporting, historian, and more.•Web-based deployment: Applications built with Ignition can be accessed and managed through web brow , making it flexible for remote monitoring and control.•SQL database connectivity: It supports integration with SQL databases (like MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) for storing and managing data collected from industrial processes.•Scalability: Ignition is scalable from small installations to large enterprise-level systems, accommodating a wide range of industries and applications.Day to Day:Insight Global is seeking candidates for multiple contract openings with one of our large manufacturing clients. These individuals will be responsible for utilizing and developing Ignition Software and creating comprehensive industrial automative functions for the business.

Must Haves:Strong coding, testing, documentation, report writing and SSRS skillsExperience in Python Programming LanguageJava Programming ExperienceWeb developmentCascading style sheets - all rulesKnowledge of UI/UX Design principles and best practicesExperience in SQL Database development and usageExperience reporting SQL Server Reporting ServicesExperience with consuming and creating Application Programming Interfaces (API's)Experience design/programming of Human Machine Interfaces (HMI)Familiarity with Git and GithubExperience interfacing or developing data visualizations
