is currently seeking a Computer Systems Engineer / Architect IV to join our team in Langley AFB, VA in support of the United States Air Force Falconer Air Operations Center (AOC). The Falconer program assists Air Force component commanders in planning, directing, and assessing air, space, and cyberspace operations. The AOC ingests, analyzes, and disseminates command, control, and intelligence data to support operations around the globe.

Job Responsibilities:Day to day sustainment & support of the installed Air Operations Center (AOC) baseline systemsSupport major upgrade projectsDefine interactions between software components.Define software layers and the interactions between the layers.Seek out multiple approaches to analyze and define interactions between software and external systems.Ensure system implementation meets architectural requirements and standards.Identify system constraints and ensure systems are designed to operate with the known constraints.Plan, design, and manage hardware/software integration into the system baselineDocument software designs and architectures.Assist in closing action items noted in the Fielding Summary Memorandum (FSM) and Site Specific Engineering Plan (SSEP)Assist site personnel with properly configuring, troubleshooting issues, and migrating to new AOC infrastructure componentsAssist site personnel with capturing site variances to incorporate into the CM process, data migration (as required), application tuning, domain policies, applying security patches, submitting/closing trouble tickets (as required) and configuring the AOC baseline to minimize downtimeAttend technical exchange meetings, AOC PC engineering and integration meetings, post installation follow-up meetingsSubmit recommended changes to AOC configuration management (CM) personnelProvide administration and management assistance for Customer's networks, including, but not limited to:configuration management, maintenance, troubleshooting of NIPR/SIPR client workstations including the performance of client support technician dutiesInstall, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.Install, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, such as local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system, data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. Perform network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption.Attend site and SPO fielding meetings, as applicableRequirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University in a related STEM field10+ years' experience in military system development and fielding, including large-scale applications.6+ years' experience documenting system requirements, design specifications, installation considerations, and other system-related information.5+ years' experience with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Standard Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI), DoD acquisition processes, and architectural products for interoperability among the DoD components.Current IAT Level 2 Certification (Sec+ or higher)SME-level experience in Microsoft Exchange 2019).Must be a U.S. Citizen.Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) TS/SCI Security Clearance.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with VMware Virtual Center Server and vSphere 7.xExperience with Active Directory, DNS, SCCM/MECM, LDAP, Group Policy Objects, WSUS, and SQL ServerExperience with ACAS and NessusExperience with HBSSSystem administration of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Red Hat Enterprise LinuxExperience with scripting such as PowerShell, BASH, Python, and VB ScriptExperience in Administration of computer systems related to domain services, including system startup and shutdown; security and application patch installation; security scanning and remediation; user account, profile, and permission management; system backup and restoration; system service and log management; system auditing; problem report management; performance management; and other IT administration-related services, as directed by the customerExperience Identifying any errors or correction needed to system technical diagrams and documentation, including installation, configuration, and operations & maintenance guides, as well as system/application verification and validation instructionsVCP-DCV certified or 10+ years of commercial/military experience building/configuring/maintaining/upgrading/tuning VMware virtual infrastructures or MCSA and/or MCSE certified or 10+ years of commercial/military experience building/configuring/maintaining/upgrading/tuning Microsoft infrastructureTo Apply for this Position:
