The Principal Software Developer will use modern tools, techniques, and methods to design and develop new applications, components and services built on our next generation cloud-native commerce platform. Ideal candidate will have more of a generalist background working with React.js, React Native, Node.js, DBs (MySql, Postgress) and has (10 years ) and leadership experience. Role & Responsibilities You will be working on our newest product offering Aptos ONE; a cloud-native, mobile-first, and unified commerce services platform. This will enable retailers to respond to changing market demands across all customer touchpoints. This role requires associate to work in the Alpharetta office 2-3 days weekly. Qualifications 10 years of relevant experience, who is capable of delivering thin slices of end-to-end functionality on a regular cadence, and who enjoys mastering and working with new and emerging technologies. Experience leading/handling a scrum team, developing/replacing talent, independently driving decision-making in a team setup Proven ability to act as a hands-on technical leader, contributing directly to code development and solving complex technical challenges. Strong experience mentoring and guiding developers, with a focus on fostering collaboration and skill development. Demonstrated responsibility for code quality, ensuring best practices, maintainability, and scalability in all deliverables. Extensive experience conducting code reviews, providing actionable feedback, and maintaining high standards for code quality. Expertise in monitoring and maintaining high test coverage and key quality metrics (e.g., code coverage, static code analysis). Technology stack includes Typescript/JavaScript, React/ React Native on the client side, expressed as a containerized microservices architecture supporting a suite of general Client Apps (Web, Mobile, Desktop) Developing applications for retail, high-end transactional systems, point of sale (POS), and for payment including integrations to payment providers such as Aurus, Adyen, or Verifone for credit, debit, alternate payment methods (APM) and gift card processing, and a familiarity with the use of payment devices. Designing and delivering high-visibility mobile & Web applications Objective C/Swift for iOS and Kotlin/Java for Android Microservices architecture Typescript JS Node.js React Native is required and React would be a huge plus Working in Agile / Scrum environments The pay range for this position is between $95,000.00 - $145,000.00 plus Incentive Bonus. Starting salary may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
