Contract Administrator
with 5 years of federal contracting and procurement experience. As a contract administrator, you will be responsible for conducting cradle-to-grave contracting activities for supplies and services. Your experience can be either as a federal government employee or as a contractor supporting a federal agency or combination of both.Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Provide contract administration support and analyze project requirements to develop solutions for agencies and organizations.Oversee contract administration, proposal development, and strategy, including acquisition planning, solicitation guidance, and market research.Assist in the development and implementation of various complex contractual agreements and documents, including evaluating and revising contractual terms and conditions.Draft and manage contract documents, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely completion and approvals.Manage contract records in databases and filing systems, ensure data accuracy, distribute documents, and maintain logs.Review invoices, analyze costs, determine payments and warranty requirements, and prepare written reports as directed.RequirementsRequirements:Minimum of 5 years of federal contract experienceBachelor's Degree preferredAcquisition certification is highly desired (i.e., FAC-C, DAWIA certification, Industry Certification (ICCM-D, ICCM-F), NCMA certifications will also be considered)Must have knowledge of contract support that includes:Market Research/Pre-solicitation activitiesContract NegotiationSolicitation Phase activitiesPost Award Contract Administration Phase activitiesOther SkillsMS OutlookMS WordMS ExcelQualifications:At least 5 years of experience in contracts and acquisitions.Proven experience providing acquisition expertise to support logistics planning and analytical activities.In-depth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the ability to apply these concepts to logistics tasks and acquisition processes.Familiarity with the government’s acquisition processes, including understanding program reviews and adaptive acquisition pathways.Experience providing guidance on the government contracting process, including the development and review of solicitation materials and the contract award process.Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) or equivalent preferred.Must be a US Citizen.BenefitsBenefitsThe position includes competitive compensation and a full suite of benefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceRetirement savings 401K plan provided by an industry leading provider with 3% employer contributions.Paid Time OffLife Insurance, Short- and Long-Term disability benefitsTraining BenefitSalary: Starting at$115,000 commensurate with education, experience, etc.About OCT Consulting LLCOCT Consulting LLC is a certified SBA 8(a), minority owned, small, disadvantaged business providing professional services and Information technology solutions to the federal government and commercial clients.
