The Nottingham Pet Clinic is seeking a full-time, experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. Established in 1985 by Dr. Nancy Freeborough, our small-animal practice is nestled between Syracuse University and Le Moyne College. We proudly serve our community with a mission of genuine care and comfort to our patients. Our receptionists are loved by our clients and staff alike, because they are amazing! Job Responsibilities:Checking patients in, discharging patients, invoicingProviding exceptional customer service such as greeting clients, answering questions, processing incoming patients, and handling paymentsAnswer phone calls which may include answering questions, scheduling appointments and recording messages for doctors and staffScheduling referralsHandle incoming and outgoing mail and emailUpdate and file patient chartsRetrieve prescriptionsAssist with pet supply purchases such as food and supplementsMaintain the cleanliness of reception area and waiting roomRetail salesSkills / Qualifications:
High School Diploma or relevant education and relevant work experienceExceptional Customer Service skillsOrganizational SkillsTech SavvyTeam orientedCommunication skillsAbility to multi-task under pressureAll Full Time Team Members are eligible for benefits, including:
