ADMINISTRATIVE SHIPPING COORDINATOR

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Support / Shipping Coordinator.This role is responsible for providing administrative assistance to shipping logistics, and ensuring smooth coordination of daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.The ideal candidate must have MRP experience.

Responsibilities:Administrative Support:

-Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing office supplies.-Maintain organized records and files (both digital and physical).-Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members.-Prepare and process documents such as invoices, purchase orders, and shipping labels.-Assist in data entry and maintaining accurate information in databases and spreadsheets.-Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.

Shipping Coordination:-Create shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork.-Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure proper stock levels and order fulfillment.-Track and report on the status of shipments, ensuring any delays or issues are promptly addressed.-Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations and company policies.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:-Logistics, or a related field is a plus-1+ years of experience in an administrative or shipping coordination role.-Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and shipping software (MRP)-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Education:High School

Experience:1-4 years

Qualifications:-High school diploma or equivalent;-Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.-Strong customer service orientation.-Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.-Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.-Ability to sit, stand, and use office equipment such as a computer, copier, and phone for extended periods.
