Responsibilities

Join Keysight's team delivering technical support for world leading solutions in electric vehicle (EV) battery test, charging station test, and grid emulator applications. Our solutions span multiple disciplines which include high power electronics, battery charge/discharge, vehicle charge communications interfaces, test automation and control. The successful candidate will be a critical customer interface and must demonstrate a real passion for customer success. Strong analytical skills, self-motivation, excellent communication, and customer relationship management are key factors for success. Technical support will be delivered remotely where possible but, as our EV / grid emulation test solutions are often large installations, then travel to customer sites will at times be necessary.

Delivery of expert post sales customer support for Keysight's portfolio of products that support e-mobility applications from vehicle battery, Battery Management System (BMS), inverter, charging interfaces of Electric Vehicle (EV), and Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE).Analysis, diagnose and resolution of customer issues in using supported products.Analysis and diagnosis of hardware and software failures (remotely or on-site as necessary).Employ case tracking tools to ensure that all customer issues are documented through to resolution and closure.Provide start-up assistance and customer trainings to ensure that system utilization and productivity are maximized.Be the voice of the customer providing clear reporting and feedback.Take best advantage from post sales interactions with customers to investigate and qualify further business opportunities.Qualifications

Bachelor and/or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.Minimum of 6 years relevant experience working in product development, customer support or other demanding technical capacity on electrical/electronic test solutions with experience of power electronics.Demonstrated problem solving skills in an electronic test system environment.Experience with test system software architectures and resolving network setup issuesThe role requires a high degree of technical competence and experience. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a track record of being a solid decision maker and the ability to work independently and collaborate with colleagues in equal measure.Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.Be able to confidently represent the 'Voice of the Customer' and escalate issues and proactively drive improvements needed to increase customer satisfaction.High level of organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well under pressure.

Position will be based in Novi, Michigan.
