Youll collaborate with other departments to ensure that our products and services meet the highest industry standards.As a Systems Integrator, you will generate the requirements, specifications, block diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, bills of material, flight manual supplements, and test plans/reports for the design, development and integration of complex aircraft electrical/avionics systems.What youll do:- Provides overall management of the systems and electrical engineering deliverables- Will formulate, implement and track assigned engineering programs to achieve overall goals, technical requirements, schedules, contracts, and specifications- Will determine, control and report project engineering budget and variance- Will coordinate data submittals supporting FAA certification- Actively supports and participates in PDRs and CDRs- Actively interface with other Engineering Leads, CPMs and other departments to ensure design requirements are fully defined and provide estimates for the required activities- Will complete technical reviews of others drawings to ensure zero rework at the shop level- Completes assignments within a specific timeframe while maintaining Engineering quality standards- Will provide timely technical assistance to production, quality and other departments with the interpretation and implementation of design data- Will be responsible for the following deliverables: - Electrical/ Systems Drawings- Block Diagrams- Electrical Load Analysis/ Electrical Load Change Report- Associated Test Plans- System Safety Assessment/ Functional Hazard Assessment- Aircraft Flight Manual Supplements- Associated Approvals- Wire Routing Drawings- Assist with ICAs, Cert Plans, and Issue Papers as required

- Will assist the Engineering Director- Perform other job duties as assignedPosition Requirements:- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline or five years of directly related work experience- Acute awareness of design practices necessary to comply with FAA regulations and policies.- Be able to work either alone or as a team to solve problems.- Has a self-starter mentality with the ability to generate alternative ideas- The ability to foster a Team work environment- Ability work overtime & weekends as required- Ability to demonstrate sound problem-solving skills- Possesses excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills- Proficient using AutoCAD and familiar using Word, Excel, and Outlook- Aware of the design practices necessary to comply with FAA regulations and policies- Ability to work independently or as a team to provide resolutions to challenges- Ability to walk throughout the facility as required- Regularly required to sit for prolonged periods- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.- Bend, kneel, and stretch to work on various parts of the aircraft.- The ability to think clearly, logically, and analytically.- The ability to write and speak clearly and effectivelyPreferred Characteristics:- DER authorization preferred but not required.Benefits that make life better:- Comprehensive Healthcare- 401(k) with 100% company match; up to 5% vested- Paid Time Off starting on day one- Bonus opportunities- Health- & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts- Short- & Long-Term Disability- Life & AD&D Insurance- Learning & Training opportunities#Standard Aero
