Our commitment to excellence and personalized service has made us a trusted partner in the community.Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize mortgage operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage banking, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for improving processes and efficiency through technology. This role oversees daily operations of the Processing, Underwriting, and Closing departments. Manages vendor relationships; credit repositories, appraisers, and software vendors; monitors post-closing functions including quality control response.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Oversight: Manage and supervise the daily operations of Processing, Underwriting, and Closing, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.Reporting: Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.Technology Integration:Oversee the implementation and maintenance of mortgage banking technology, including:Automation of Processes - Technology enables the automation of repetitive tasks such as data entry, document collection, and verification, reducing the time and potential for human error. This leads to faster processing times.Digital Document Management - Electronic document management systems allow for the secure storage, retrieval, and sharing of documents. This streamlines the application process, as applicants can submit documents online, and staff can access them from anywhere.E-Signatures - The use of electronic signatures accelerates the approval process by allowing clients to sign documents remotely and securely, eliminating the need for in-person meetings.Data Analytics - Advanced analytics tools help mortgage companies gather and analyze data from various sources, providing insights into customer behavior, market trends, and operational efficiencies, enabling informed decision-making.Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems - CRMs help manage client interactions and streamline communication, ensuring that all team members are informed and can provide timely updates to clients throughout the mortgage process.Loan Origination Systems (LOS) - These systems facilitate the entire loan process from application to closing, integrating various functionalities such as underwriting, compliance checks, and funding, improving coordination and efficiency.Mobile Applications - Mobile technology allows clients to track their mortgage applications in real time, receive notifications, and communicate with loan officers, improving the overall customer experience.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage banking operations, leadership role.
