Inventory Coordinator

Position Summary:
This position's primary responsibilities will be the daily coordinating of inventory after production and shipments of finished products and point of sale materials ensuring compliance in accordance with company policy, food safety standards, government regulations, and industry best practices. Additionally, this position will help coordinate production, shipping, and returns of Abita Brewing Company products with the Logistic Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Finished Goods Inventory and Shipments:Oversees the daily inventory of all finished products and point of sales materialsAssists with reviewing Crescent Crown's orders and inventoryManages returns and destroy logs for accountingResponsible for the communication with AP and contract companiesFinished goods inventoryAssisting with BOLs and drawing up trucksMaintaining logs for accountingProcess all point of sale orders and prepare for shippingManage pallet inventory and orders for productionAssists the Marketing department with donation request, special event planning and executionAssist and Backup Logistics Manager:
Provide updated notes and inventory counts for production meetingAssist with coordinating shipments through Abita trucks or contracted freight companies.Printing and drawing up trucksAssigning POs to contracted trucks and sending weekly plan to contract companyPlanning seasonal/limited shipments/production runsPlanning dunnage pickups and pallet returnsAssists with other duties needed by the Logistics Manager and within the shipping and warehouse departmentsWorking Conditions

This position manages Warehouse and Truck Driving personnel.
Education/Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred or a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a brewery or other logistics/warehouse facility managing inventory levelsTransportation and knowledge of DOT regulations preferredKnowledge of safe work operations, safety policies and proceduresAttention to details, ability to recognize when there is a problemAbility to multitask and manage multiple priorities/projects concurrentlyExcellent organization, analytical, and problem solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, strong ability to work in cross-functional teamsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteMust be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
