As an individual contributor, or as a leader of people, your enterprise mindset will ensure Flowserve’s position as the global standard in comprehensive flow control solutions.Accountabilities:Work with sales and product management to set direction and strategy for the smart product team.Responsible for executing digital roadmap for all FCD products.Support product initiative projects for new technologies and products and manage improvements to existing products.Lead and manage the team of smart products engineering leaders and provide direction for their engineering and operational needs and requirements.Utilize experience and knowledge to manage the quality, innovation, user experience and timely execution of development initiatives for major Flowserve smart products.Manage and drive continual improvement of the smart products engineering teams.Oversee the development and training of engineers and technicians.Globally support sales, production, QA, supply chain, assembly and test benches and aftermarket in the operations.Help ensure positive customer experiences by providing required support to the MRO End User Services organization.Make effective use of capacity planning tools and business forecasts.Continually develop and implement improvements within the team.Participate in improvement project activities such as Lean manufacturing.Develop and implement personnel development plans.Support HR in new talent acquisition and assessment.Create product documentation for IOM manuals.Lead design and construction of manufacturing lines for new products.Implement and maintain product design program meeting ISO-9001 certification requirements.Ensure products are safe and compliant with appropriate industry requirements.Position Requirements:Engineering, Computer Science or Industrial Automation degree plus 15+ years of track record in delivering and sustaining products.Track record of at least 8 years of managing people, and at least 5 years of managing global teams.Extensive knowledge of and experience with industrial automation standards and digital communication protocols.Ability to manage and lead teams in an Agile way.Must be self-starting with high sense of urgency.Interpersonal skills are critical for communication with internal and external customers.Ability to produce professional engineering reports and presentations.Ability to travel globally approximately 20-30% of the time.Preferred Experience:Excellent time management and organization skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience with involvement in industry standards organizations and forums.Flowserve offers competitive pay, annual bonuses, medical benefits on day 1, generous paid vacation time, paid holidays, 401(k) and many other excellent benefits!Join a company whose people are committed to building a more sustainable future to make the world better for everyone.
