Established in 1996 by Dr. Lisa Delpit, The Alonzo A. Crim Center for Urban Education Excellence (CUEE) provides a “city-wide laboratory for the development of excellence in urban education.” Since its inception, the CUEE serves the southeast region of the nation as an interdisciplinary outreach, research and educational support and development hub aimed at continuing the legacy of Dr. Alonzo A. Crim.
It is the mission of the Center to extend Dr. Crim’s vision by optimizing the life opportunities of children and families in urban communities by ensuring the availability of a prosperous and equitable school environment.

is seeking to hire a limited-term (one-year term)

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
The SFE-Project Director will manage the day-to-day operations of RHY Atlanta. This will include liaising between the CEHD, Alonzo A. Crim Center, community partners and partner IHE’s.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Event programming, coordination, and management - Lead the development, coordination, and management of RHY Atlanta (Runaway and Homeless Youth Atlanta) events.
Data collection and management- Collaborate with RHY Atlanta PIs, AmeriCorps members, volunteers and staff to collect, manage, analyze, and disseminate data around all metrics and stated goals.
Program coordination - Support AmeriCorps team members, PIs, staff, and volunteers in coordinating RHY Atlanta project initiatives across stakeholders and community partners.
Oversee all administrative activities related to RHY Atlanta including management of websites, social media, and communication.
Develops and facilitates organizational management for RHY Atlanta including the utilization of materials, implementation of policies, operational plans, and procedures that support project goals and objectives.
Conduct bi-weekly individual meetings with AmeriCorps members. Conduct bi-weekly all team meetings with PIs, AmeriCorps members, volunteers and staff.
SPONSOR FUNDED:
***This is a regular, full-time position which involves on-campus and online duties, with job continuation dependent upon grant funding.
