The senior scheduler also assists with special academic scheduling for certain programs like Supplemental Instruction. This position focuses primarily on event scheduling. The position assist with academic scheduling if needed during peak time.* Processes daily incoming room reservation requests for academic related events and special events. Ensures that student organizations are chartered with the University and that requests are submitted only via the Advisor.* Enforces the reservation guidelines and ensures that requesters adhere to the reservation processing calendar.* Processes Supplemental Instruction requests each semester.* Responds to daily e-mail, telephone and in-person inquiries regarding classroom reservations.Produces and maintains reservation processing calendar. Photographs event space and maintains attributes for the space.

* Provides timely resolution of complaints regarding event reservations. Responsible for opening rooms and key control for event space. Responsible for resolving room issues during emergency situations such as flood, fire, or equipment outages.* Develops, maintains, and updates written training documentation for Event Reservation Processing. Develops written correspondence for e-mail inquiries. Creates standard e-mail responses for routine request and inquires.Assists with academic placements for adds, changes, and discontinues during peak periods or in the absence of the Administrative Specialist. Collaborates with the Administrative Specialist to create and post final and common exam schedules each semester.

* Takes the minutes for the Classroom Facilities meeting. Minimum Hiring Qualifications:High school diploma or GED and two years of clerical experience.Preferred Hiring Qualifications:Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating a knowledge of classroom scheduling.Must have a collaborative, energetic and resourceful work style.Excellent oral and written communication skills.

* Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.* Ability to multi-task; pay attention to detail; and exhibit excellent customer service skills.Proficient understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
