to join our team and work directly with our Department of Defense (DoD) client. This client-facing position will be advising and implementing sound Human Research Policy. You will be a key advisor to the Chief Medical Officer of a large military command organization. Our core value of

will be paramount to this role as you will be applying research ethics support to evaluate and minimize risk to human subjects during command supported and conducted research.LOCATIONFalls Church, VA (Hybrid work schedule)This position is contingent upon the award of the government contract.WHO YOU ARESecret Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret ClearanceBachelor’s degree in science or technology; (3+ years of relevant additional experience will be considered in lieu of education)Minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing any combination of Medical and Non-Medical Human Subjects Research project or program support in the following areas:Human subjects research regulation and policy analysisHuman subjects research regulatory compliancePublishing formal Human subjects research guidance/interpretation of regulation and policy governing human subjects research protectionDeveloping and implementing human subjects research protection programs in a government or academic institutionEmploying scientific literature search automation tools, i.e. Lexis-Nexis Database or entering program and project materials into DoD databases.Highly organized and systematicEffective written and verbal communication skillsFederal experience is preferredPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESAssess Department of Navy (DON) commands, institutions, and extramural collaborators for compliance with applicable Federal regulations, DoD instructions, and DON instructions regarding Navy and Marine Corps research.Continually develop and maintain DON Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) guidance documentation of DON HRPP policies and procedures.Conduct training on emerging issues and changes to regulatory requirements.Providing administrative, program management and additional support on tasks such as analysis, budget, travel, and information system support.WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?What makes us different?
