The College Director of Concurrent Enrollment will work collaboratively with the College Director of Dual Enrollment to implement the CT State dual enrollment policy and procedures. Responsibilities include providing training for campus-based concurrent enrollment teams, offering technical assistance to school districts and adult basic education providers, and strengthening campus partnerships to expand concurrent enrollment options. The position involves the administration of the Dual Credit Expansion IHE grant.Example of Job Duties:
Under the direction of the Associate Vice Provost of Student Affairs, the College Director of Concurrent Enrollment is accountable for these duties:Program Implementation.Technical Assistance.Administration and Reporting.Additional responsibilities include attending convocation and commencement ceremonies, serving on assigned committees and task forces, and participating in meetings, which may occur during evenings or weekends.Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in an appropriately related field with two (2) or more years of related experience, including up to two years of supervisory experience; or a combination of education, training, and experience that leads to the competencies required for successful performance of the position’s essential duties.Incumbents are required to have demonstrated advanced knowledge and abilities in the following:Higher education administration.Concurrent enrollment programming.Project management.Budget and fiscal management.Candidates must possess proven ability to effectively work with culturally, linguistically, and ethnically diverse faculty, staff, and students. They are expected to have excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong information technology literacy skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).Preferred Qualifications:
Community college experience.Starting Salary:
Minimum Salary: $80,901 approximate annual plus excellent State of CT medical insurance, retirement, and related fringe benefits. The salary will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications, education, and job-related experience.
