ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF KINESIOLOGY

The Westmont Kinesiology Department invites applications for a tenure-track position with an emphasis in, or the ability to teach, the quantitative and qualitative aspects of Biomechanics and/or a specialty in teaching Anatomy at the rank of assistant professor. The Kinesiology Department strives to provide quality instruction in preparing students for both post-graduate study and meaningful careers. In light of that continuing goal, the Department is seeking a proven teacher with a PhD or its equivalent. Proven administrative skills and a CSCS (certified strength and conditioning specialist) would be a welcome addition for future service in the Kinesiology Department.Faculty members are expected to wholeheartedly embrace the mission of the College, in the Protestant evangelical tradition, and to demonstrate excellence in teaching with a commitment to mentoring undergraduate students and having an active scholarly participation.Westmont is a Christian liberal arts college.
