The Mathematics and Computer Science Department of Westmont College invites applications for a tenure-track position in mathematics to begin in August 2025. An earned Ph.D. at the time of appointment is required. Area of specialization is relatively open, but strengths in statistics, data science or algebra are of particular interest.Our department works collaboratively to support three majors: mathematics, computer science, and data analytics. Faculty in the department are passionate about pursuing effective instruction, involving students in research, and engaging in community outreach activities. It is essential that interested candidates possess the ability to teach, advise, and mentor undergraduate students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds.Westmont is a Christian liberal arts college.
