Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.HDR Engineering, Inc., is seeking a licensed Traffic Engineer for our Pensacola, Tallahassee, Mobile or Birmingham office.Primary ResponsibilitiesPrepare traffic safety study reports, intersection and interchange operational analyses using HCS, VISSIM, SYNCHRO, SIMTRAFFIC and other applicable Transportation Engineering ModelsAnalyze, optimize, implement and fine tune traffic system timings along major corridors using SYNCHRO, SIMTRAFFIC, and VISSIMWork with large data setsPerform field visitsWrite and prepare reports.Preferred QualificationsPE license in AL or FL respective to hiring locationBS in Civil EngineeringMinimum of 4 years of experienceRequired QualificationsExperience with traffic analysis and traffic engineering/designProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseDetailed hands-on experience conducting traffic design using CAD platforms including MicroStation, Autocad and Guide Sign softwareDetailed hands-on experience conducting operational analysis using a variety of analysis and modeling tools specific to support job duties, including HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, and AimsunDetailed hands-on experience conducting safety analysis using a variety of safety software tools including Highway Safety SoftwareProficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, WordAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
