To succeed in this role, you must have a minimum B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with proven experience in energy efficiency consulting; energy master planning and/or decarbonization planning experience is desired (other degrees will be considered depending on relevant qualifications and experience). Are you our new Energy Engineer?You will join our Energy Consulting Services practiceAs our new Senior Energy Engineer, you will be part of a highly skilled and experienced team of energy efficiency and sustainability professionals who execute interesting and diverse projects in the commercial, industrial, institutional and municipal sectors. Our team is at the forefront of helping clients achieve their energy efficiency and carbon reduction goals. You will have opportunities to collaborate with design and construction professionals in the Energy business unit as well as with other Ramboll business units and organizations in the Americas and globally including Environment & Health, Water, and Advanced Manufacturing.Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:Providing energy and decarbonizing consulting services across a wide range of clientsConducting investigative energy assessments to identify energy and cost savings measures (ASHRAE Level 1-3 energy audits)Performing utility billing and interval data analysis, and energy benchmarkingConducting spreadsheet analysis to estimate energy and cost savings of proposed energy efficiency measures (EEMs)Assessing renewable energy potential at client sitesQualificationsYour starting point for constant growth:Bachelor of Science in engineering requiredCertified Energy Manager preferredProfessional Engineer preferredMinimum 3-5 years of professional experience with focus on building energy efficiency; energy master planning and/or decarbonization planning experience is a plusStrong communication skills (both written and verbal)SkillsTechnical acumen and proven experience in energy engineeringStrong interpersonal skillsStrong writing skillsSelf drivenPersonal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: confident communicator with colleagues and clients; ability to work independently and in a highly collaborative team environment; strong relationship-building qualities; and passion for delivering solutions for greater social and environmental impact.How to applyApply online.
