DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTIONFacilitate consultation and exercise independent judgment in offering direction to employees and leaders regarding employee relations matters such as performance management and improvement, policy application, conflict resolution, discipline, relevant healthcare regulatory requirements and other employment regulations.Manage and/or support employee experience team efforts including process standardization and documentation, scheduling, data management and automation.Manage multiple intake avenues and prioritize, record and maintain related data.Assist with and/or lead investigations by gathering multiple investigatory statements, witness accounts, and supporting documentation.Manage and respond to unemployment claims, grievances and related inquiries.Assist employee experience staff in the areas of training, performance improvement, employee engagement, and other best practices for management of employees.All other duties and special projects as assigned.May complete unit/department specific duties as outlined in department documents.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in human resources, business, law, psychology, public administration, or other related discipline providing a broad understanding of general business practices and/or human resource theories, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired.Three (3) years of experience utilizing advanced knowledge, independent discretion and judgement in human resources or comparable field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in human resources, business, law, psychology, public administration, or other related discipline.Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification by Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI), or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification by Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), or related certification.Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
