Position Summary:As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll join an Agile Team to delve into our Digital Citizenship landscape. Collaborating as part of a privacy & compliance unit, you'll not only develop but also support the solutions you create. Your role will involve optimizing our Digital Trust & Compliance solution, adding business value, and ensuring compliance with different Regulations.About Team: Digital CitizenshipOur organization is the Global Risk and Compliance - Digital Citizenship Tech focuses on managing and delivering world-class products, driving policy compliance, creating partnerships, and developing pipelines and self-service tools. We are responsible for Global Privacy Technology Product implementations across the globe so that we can earn our customers’ and associates’ trust.What You'll Do:Design and implement complex features in Fitment applications.Analyze and optimize ReactJS, NodeJS front end and backend applications.Experiment with new technologies and features and build quick prototypes.Participate in managing code & configurations for multiple environments, release management process, creating and maintaining environment configuration and controls, code integrity and work closely with platform team.Analyze business requirements, storyboards and similar artifacts of the scrum process, work in an agile development environment with a quick turnaround time and iterative builds.Lead the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design.Lead the work of other small groups of three to five engineers.Ensure inclusion of business vision and industry trends to enable results that drive business.Problem solve and troubleshoot design and development issues and provide appropriate solutions.Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.What You'll Bring:Experience with React JS/Redux.Web development experience required.Proficient in Java AND/OR JavaScript.Experience interfacing with Web Services platforms.Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment.Experience in a modern build environment on a large-scale development project.Familiarity with Automation Tools.Experience in NodeJS.Experience in Java.Experience building, adopting and maintaining RESTful APIs.About Walmart Global TechImagine working in an environment where one line of code can make life easier for hundreds of millions of people.
