Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP IBP Consultant
This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply.This position is based in Richardson or Houston, TX.Preferred Qualifications:Contribute to the IBP team in planning, designing, development, Testing and deployment of SAP IBP solution.Provide SAP driven solutions for Business requirements in the area of SAP IBP modules such as Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, Order Based planning.Build and test activities like Develop Configuration and functional design document as per the requirement gathered during workshops.Successful implementation of SAP IBP module, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on solution proposed.Manage the delivery of configuration, development and change requests for SAP IBP modules.Understanding of business processes from a customer perspective.Providing system blueprints, configuration documentation and functional specifications for utilizing objects and developing enhanced RICEFW solutions for Plan to Make module.Serving as an SAP IBP functional consultant in an SAP Application implementation or maintenance project, and can provide accurate, trusted, and reliable information regarding functionality and impact of objects in PTM area.Performing ad hoc functional roles for SAP IBP and minor roles in Material Requirements Planning or Production Planning and detailed scheduling.Coordinating with FI, MM, and SD consultants, ABAP developers, and other personnel from cross integration modules, SAP related products and external systems handling SAP IBP data.Understanding the constant updates and changes to the SAP IBP landscape new technologies, naming conventions and features brought about by SAP to the IBP platform.Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.Should have minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP IBP consulting role.Should have experience in at least 3 end to end SAP IBP Implementation projects.Candidate should have idea about process integration and flows in supply chain, integrated business planning, demand planning, supply planning and integration with S/4 HANA.Should be well versed in demonstrated configuration skills in key areas Planning areas, Master data, Attributes, planning levels, key figures, planning operators, forecast models, data model in IBP, Heuristics, and all relevant configurations in the SAP IBP area.Understanding of configurations and design for MRP and PPDS will be a plus.Extensive integration experience with other modules like Logistics, Commercials, Financial Planning, Plant Maintenance.Deep understanding of localization for Asian countries especially China is expected.Candidate should have experience in writing Functional Specifications independently and should have worked on customized solutions from blueprint/design to deployment.The candidate should have been in a customer facing role.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
