From kindergarten to college to career, EAB partners with leaders and practitioners to accelerate progress and drive results across enrollment, student success, institutional strategy, data analytics, and advancement.The Role in Brief:Associate Copywriter, Adult Learner RecruitmentThe Associate Copywriter merges the unique voice of our partner colleges and universities with proven marketing principles to create effective campaigns. This role works with more senior copywriters, art directors, web designers and client teams to develop engaging concepts to fulfill client goals and expectations. Associate Copywriters generate stand-alone copy and finished pieces that complement visual concepts, adhere to stated objectives and are completely grammatically accurate. This role requires an interest in learning direct marketing strategy and a passion for helping students find their ideal college fit.Primary Responsibilities:Understand client objectives to craft direct marketing copy that is tailored, consistent and identifiable for each client.Learn from feedback to produce copy that is clear, compelling and on point for target audience.Contribute to copy and recruitment marketing discussions in client meetings.Support the copywriting group by providing coverage, taking on overflow work and ensuring deadlines are met.Participate in team, creative and process meetings.Embrace company-wide process improvement, systems development and training initiatives.Possess the technical flexibility to quickly adapt to changing systems and processes.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in related field.Ability to think creatively and translate ideas into copy.Ability to manage time and meet tight deadlines as well as work late hours/weekends as needed.A passion for writing and the willingness to collaborate with and learn from other creative professionals.Technically savvy and able to adapt to changing systems and processes.Knowledge of Microsoft Office.Ideal Qualifications:At least 1 year of experience in writing strong, succinct copy that is grammatically correct and consistent with prescribed styles.Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple priorities/deadlines.Commitment to valuing diversity, practicing inclusive behaviors, and contributing to an equitable working and continual learning environment in support of EAB’s DE&I Promise.Compensation:The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $44,000 - $50,000 per year.
