We will recruit and develop leaders who share our obsession for hospitality and embrace our values of empathy, adaptability, and selflessness.POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for assisting with culinary leadership coverage at all restaurants, where there is a shortage of management or management transition. Also, coordinates, supervises, trains, and assists in all operational areas during new restaurant openings and at existing Mina Group restaurants.This position requires candidates to reside in a local market where currently operating Mina Group restaurants exist.Executive Chef - Restaurant Excellence TeamOur Ideal candidate is:A detail-oriented culinary leader who will be a hands-on mentor in the kitchen with the ability to adapt quickly to changes and create an amazing experience for both our guests and our staff. You will lead all culinary operations, providing insight and guidance to every member of the kitchen staff, develop seasonal menus and specials and work closely with the general manager and corporate culinary and operations teams to further the success of the restaurant. You have expertise in cooking techniques, financial reporting, inventory control, labor cost management, an impeccable eye for detail, and a high level of professionalism.You will supervise and coordinate the planning, training, and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation. You will work with corporate chefs and HR to develop an internship program that embraces diversity, education, and discipline and lead execution of service and staff development using a variety of management tools, including line checks, mentorship, and performance management.What you bring to the table:Personal Attributes

Basic Qualifications
6 years’ experience in a fine dining high-volume kitchen, with at least 2 years in a leadership roleCulinary degree preferredKnowledge of safety and hygiene protocolsWorking knowledge of HR practices and labor lawsAbility to frequently lift up to 40 poundsHave the stamina to work in excess of 40 hours per weekSpanish language skills a plus
Travel:
There will be extensive travel required to perform the essential job functions. Travel requirements will be at the discretion of Mina Group. This includes travel to certain restaurants for extended periods of time, to assist with manager coverage during transitions as well as during restaurant openings.Timeframe and Initiative:
The Restaurant Excellence Team (REX) provides leadership candidates the opportunity to be fully trained in MINA Group standard operating procedures, systems, and concepts through assignments at multiple locations with the goal of taking a leadership position at a MINA Group restaurant in a full-time capacity. While individual development and management vacancies may affect timing, our expectation is that REX members will assume a full-time position at any one of our outlets within 12-18 months from their hire date.Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 /yearMina Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
