About the Role:As a Continuous Improvement Leader, you will drive operational excellence across Teel’s plastic processing businesses which encompass products provided to the healthcare, industrial, utility, and telecommunications markets. The primary responsibility is to lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives that optimize efficiency, enhance product quality, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. You will work cross-functionally with teams from operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, finance, and commercial departments, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives across the plants, focusing on operational efficiency, product quality, cost reductions, and customer satisfaction.Establish and drive a culture of continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and align projects with business objectives.Help establish and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess improvement projects and track their impact on business performance.Facilitate problem-solving sessions, Kaizen events, and workshops to engage teams in continuous improvement activities.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, particularly in the healthcare products sector.Provide coaching and mentorship across all departments to foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.Monitor production processes and lead initiatives that minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.Work closely with financial teams to assess the ROI of improvement projects and drive value-based decisions.Report to senior leadership on the status and impact of continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Need:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.Minimum of 10 years experience within plastic processing industry.Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within manufacturing or operational environments, preferably in plastics extrusion or a similar industry.Proven experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing projects across multiple departments.Excellent communication, leadership, facilitation, training, and project management skills.Certification in Lean or Six Sigma is preferred but not required.Key Competencies: Strategic Thinking, Leadership and Team Development, Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills, Project Management, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Change Management.
