Job ID: 2815399 | Amazon.com Services LLCThe Amazon Freight Less Than Truckload (AF LTL) team is looking for an experienced leader to own Network Design and position the AF LTL Network for current and future initiatives.
Network Design sets the medium and long-term strategy for AF LTL and will ensure that AF LTL develops the optimal network to service our customers with a high quality and low cost LTL product. This role will be responsible for a variety of strategic projects including transitioning our network from outsourced to in-sourced operations, developing custom network solutions for new customer types, and evolving AF LTL's network topology strategy.
Key job responsibilities
Create and deliver long-term (LTP) and medium-term planning (MTP) documents for AF LTLAdvise VP Level Leadership on Strategic Decision MakingCollaborate with Senior Manager and Director level leaders across the organization and influence medium/long-term decisions across business units to yield the best outcomes for customersLead ad hoc strategic projects including but not limited to evaluations of strategic partnership opportunities and business cases for new technologies
A day in the lifeAs the leader for AF LTL Network Design, you will be building the medium and long-term terminal expansion strategy for the US AF LTL program. You will work cross functionally within the AF Biz-Ops team as well as other internal teams (e.g. AMXL, Sort Centers) to balance cost/speed/quality tradeoffs, while developing the network for future expansion and opportunities. You will be the subject matter expert on terminal capacity modelling and network connectivity, as well as be a key partner to Finance on terminal ROI modelling.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of working cross functionally across several teams experience- 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience- 7+ years of supply chain experience- Bachelor's degree- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvementsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
