The Strategic Planning Sr. Manager (concentration on strategic marketing) will lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that align with the organization's long-term goals. This role involves collaborating with senior leadership to identify opportunities for growth, assess market trends, and drive initiatives that enhance business performance and competitive advantage.
[Job Description]
Strategic Analysis and Planning:
Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, and internal performance metrics.Identify opportunities for growth and expansion in existing and new markets.Set specific measurable goals aligned with overall business direction.Develop strategic plans and roadmaps that align with organizational goals and objectives.Evaluate business operations and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Manage the product roadmap and planning the product strategy including pricing position.
Operational Excellence & Business Planning:
Shape go-to-market strategies by collaborating with Operations members using a data-driven approach to identify priorities or gaps and recommend actionable plans for operations to execute.Drive strategic planning with operational rigor, including operational reviews and tracking performance against regional goals.Lead critical projects, ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams and buy-in from Operations stakeholders.Monitor and develop social media platforms utilization such as daily monitoring, postings, getting feedback and do the PR activities too.Systematically analyze the efficiency of product revenue growth, operation efficiency, ROI, and identify measures for improvement.Estimate the total addressable market and identify high-quality business opportunities globally for all products to ensure an effective GTM strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with senior executives, department heads, and other stakeholders to gather insights and ensure alignment on strategic priorities.Facilitate workshops and meetings to brainstorm and develop strategic initiatives.Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams.Build strong relationships across departments to foster collaboration and support for strategic initiatives.Provide thought to the leadership on industry trends and emerging monetization opportunities.Collaborate with creative marketing operation management and sales operation teams to develop monetization strategies.Coordinate with other internal teams, to bring creative playbooks to customer and sales teams.
Project & Task Management:
Lead and manage strategic projects and tasks from conception through implementation.Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.Monitor progress and performance against strategic goals, making adjustments as needed.Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and objectives.Direct the sales & store support team to timely support the sales and stores.Manage the Task Force and evaluate them.
Performance Monitoring, Data analysis and Reporting:
Establish KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate the success of strategic initiatives.Analyze data and provide insights to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on strategy outcomes and business performance.Prepare daily sales report and regular reports to Korea.Own the regional data analytics framework, from data hygiene, data FAQs, data set improvement, metrics alignment, and dashboard creation while effectively leveraging workflow with Sales Operation teams.Conduct market research into potential business opportunities, e.g., new partnerships and technologies, competitor products.Design and govern attainment reporting cadences, enabling effective comprehension and accountability among Ops members.Conduct deep-dive analyses on marketing operation to support the Sales Operations team and unlock further revenue.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform strategic planning.Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance strategic planning and execution.
Korea liaison and take strategic initiative for the US sales:
Product management, new product introduction (NPI) & pricing strategy.Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales report for US HQ and Korea.Weekly report to the CEO.
Additional Responsibilities:
Lead Marketing annual strategic planning, articulating Marketing's most critical priorities and corresponding investment.Manage and coach team members across their projects, own team check-ins, project prioritization, and feedback and development of reports.Work across internal teams to develop solutions to organizational issues and initiatives.Improve overall Marketing efficiency and effectiveness by applying an approach to Marketing operational processes.Evaluate Marketing performance/impact and make data-driven recommendations to adjust our approach.Social Media Marketing - Via multiple social media channels.Develop strategies on how to utilize Social Media platforms to increase the foot traffic to the store and increase sales.Other Duties as assigned per management.
[Qualifications]
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and strategically to drive long-term business growth.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.Leadership: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to influence and guide cross-functional teams. Will manage 3-4 team members.Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial principles and the ability to analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making.Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a willingness to embrace change and innovation.Software Proficiency: Proficiency in strategic planning tools and software, as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Experience & Educational background requirements: With Bachelor’s degree with minimum 10+ years - experience in strategic planning, marketing, business analysis, strategic business data analysis, strategic sales or Marketing, product strategy, business strategy and planning or similar fields. Experience managing team at least 5+ people.Though understanding & Knowledge of US market, customers & marketing trend.At least 5-7+ years US marketing experience especially in strategic marketing experience is required.English/Korean bi-lingual is required due to communicating and reporting to Korea.[Work Environment]
Work hours: Mon-Friday 9-6.
