Ponte Family Estate Winery opened in 2003 and is a California based company operating in the heart of the Temecula Wine Country. We have been farming our vineyards since 1984 and are a real working winery, growing and producing over 20 estate grown varietals within certified sustainable facilities.We are located right next to our Four Diamond, 90 room, boutique hotel Ponte Vineyard Inn. We are surrounded by 300 acres of mature vineyards and views of rolling hills. We are a short drive from most of Southern California and enjoy hosting folks who want a break from city life. Our associates are dedicated to delighting guests by providing excellent hospitality and serving great wine and food in a beautiful environment.Summary:This full-time position is responsible for providing exceptional, authentic customer service through phone, text, and email communications. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with guests and members and is looking for a dual role with administrative and guest-facing duties.Compensation:
$20.00 - $22.00 DOE401k MatchingSick + Vacation Time2 paid holidays (Thanksgiving + Christmas)Schedule:Weekends and holidaysOccasional evening Member eventsThe Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following Skills:Experience in a wine sales or hospitality field.Minimum age of 21 years old.Accurately uses Outlook, Excel, Word, Wine Direct, and multiple POS systems, and can accurately type at least 45 wpm.Efficient with heavy call volume from members and guests, while entering data in various software, and resolving calls and emails to the member’s satisfaction and retention.Ability to multi-task in loud and busy office.Knowledge of business communication, including style and format of letters, memorandum, minutes, and reports.Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.Ability to handle and resolve multiple issues at the same time.Work collaboratively in a team environment.Explain the wine club including how it works, benefits, wines, shipments, pricing, terms, basic math calculations, terms and conditions.Process heavy call volume from members and guests, enter data in various software, and resolving calls and emails to member’s satisfaction all at the same time.Consistently meets club objectives in sales, service, and membership benchmarks.Meets individual sales goals by selling wine, merchandise, and memberships by phone and email.Thrives in a fast-paced direct to consumer sales environment specializing in member satisfaction, wine sales and wine club memberships.Act as a Brand Ambassador for the Wine Club department focusing on new memberships sales and active member retention.Able and willing to perform indoor and outdoor tasks in inclement weather while lifting, lowering, pushing or carrying up to 45 pounds.Ensure all members and guests are welcomed and given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesShipping and Fulfillment:Follow the SOP.Contact members and guests via phone and email about Shipments.Perform member account maintenance in wine club software.Update, process, new orders and manage hold and custom orders.Track wine club/online store/phone sale wines held on hold.Track current inventory of wines, wine releases.Process all will-call (non-pickup) orders on Orders Day.Update credit cards and membership information by personally calling and emailing wine club members.Assist with daily shipping as needed.Provide Back up for Wine Club/Shipping Coordinator.Attend monthly wine club meetings.Wine Club Applications:Enter wine club applications and change forms timely ensuring accurate information is recorded.Call members to welcome them to the club.Call members re: wine specials and events.Member Tasting Areas:Assist members in indoor/outdoor tasting areas.Monitor inventory for pick up wines and hold wines.Participate and assist with after hour club events.Physical Requirements:Sit at a computer using a mouse and keyboard for long periods of time while talking on the phone.Physical demands and activity including but not limited to walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.Work in office, indoor and outdoor settings in inclement weather.Be able to lift, lower, push, carry up for 45 lbs.Company Standards:Understand the Ponte Values and Service Standards.Ensure the safety of guests and associates.Follow the environmental standards set by the Company.Treat all associates and guests in a respectful manner.Exhibit integrity (honesty and truthfulness).Perform any other duties as required by your Manager.
