Flexible starting at $125K (flexible)
For non-local candidates we offer a $5K per month per diem (pretax)
POSITION OVERVIEW – Procurement Manager
The Manager, Procurement is responsible for managing the Procurement process. Manages the preparation, negotiation, and awarding work to Subcontractors, Equipment suppliers, and Consultants. Works closely with internal clients to support all project needs and facilitates appropriate meetings and discussions with current and potential service partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the Procurement process, facilitate the RFPs for equipment and subcontracts
Manages the procurement strategy for specified projects in which you lead or support
Manages the process of bid analysis and recommendations to award
Develops the procurement strategy for assigned projects in which you lead or support
Develops pricing tools and database to support estimating team with compiling budgets for business development activities
Develops and implements streamlined processes for management and execution of the rf(x) process.
Develops and manages metrics to evaluate supplier, subcontractor, and consultant performance
Manages the buyers under their organization in day to day and yearly goals
Supports buyers as required in the assembly and issuance of Subcontracts, Work Orders, Purchase Orders, Change Orders, Notices and other contractual documents
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related required
8+ years of Procurement / Sourcing experience
Experience working in Procurement in manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, high tech or construction environment
Experience working in projects in a construction / project environment
Project management experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred
Apics Certification preferred
