Please review the following job description:This leadership role focuses on shaping and delivering Truist Financials’ strategic payment products. The Senior Development Product Manager will leverage deep industry knowledge and systems expertise to oversee and guide stakeholders. The role emphasizes synergy with peer digital and rails product managers to align with enterprise payment product objectives.
Manage both strategic and tactical aspects of consumer and small business digital payment products, ensuring adoption and usage through clearly defined KPIs.
Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including ideation, development, management, marketing, communication, commercialization, profitability, and risk management.
Provide subject matter expertise to drive the development and delivery of innovative payment solutions that meet client needs.

Develop and execute product strategy: develop and cultivate strategy designed to deliver market-differentiated solutions for Digital Payment Product Line up including products, features, platform solution(s). Ensure fit of solutions to serve clients according to Truist strategy and in a seamless continuum; play a leadership role in building awareness and education of products with internal teams; consolidate and develop short and long term roadmaps for product suite(s) and future product development.
Develop and commercialize new solutions: play a leadership role within the team in driving execution of programmatic changes impacting multiple products and partners. Drive consolidation and direction for prioritization, business cases, business & functional requirements, project management, operational readiness.
Manage profitable client focused solutions throughout life cycle: continually evaluate and monitor programs focusing on performance and profitability of payment solutions. Establish program success measures and post-launch performance to adapt as necessary.
Build and cultivate relationships within Broader team: engage, partner, and collaborate across a highly matrixed set of internal cross functional partners, stakeholders, payment based business partners that are often within a different reporting line of business, as well as applicable third party partners. Consult with Senior Leadership and Executive Management in design, pricing and implementation of solutions.
Successfully navigate evolving industry landscape: monitor competitors (bank and non-bank) to report on developing trends and potential impact. Use client, analytic, and industry sources to identify portfolio gaps and generate incremental revenue opportunities. Support participation/representation in select industry groups as applicable.
Ensure effective regulatory, legal, compliance, change, and quality management: meet needs of our customers while adhering to all product policies and regulations ensuring all legal, compliance, and audit standards are fully met.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education or related training
7+ years of product management, finance, marketing, and strategy experience within financial service, or Digital payment product organization
Proven experience managing product portfolios (Banking, online or mobile banking, Digital payment products)
Advanced project management, priority setting, execution, communication, presentation, business acumen
Experience with digital payment processing/networks and/or electronic payment systems as well as related infrastructure and emerging technology
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree or equivalent education and related training
10+ years of product management, finance, marketing, and strategy experience within financial service, or payment organization
5+ years proven experience managing highly complex digital payment product portfolios The Clearing House Real Time payments, ACH, Wires, Early Warning system - Zelle.
Completion of an advanced banking school program
