Job Summary : The Project Manager provides full Project Management Services including generating estimates and proposals, soliciting contracts from potential customers, planning/scheduling, material procurement, cost tracking, labor analysis, change order management, HSE oversight, etc. This position develops engineering designs, specifications, and cost estimates; prepares written reports, technical specifications, and material specifications for construction services; and executes all assigned engineering and modification activities associated with various projects, turnarounds, and facilities maintenance.
Essential Job Functions
Must execute projects to meet the standards of Company and the customer.
Must partner with Operations Manager, Construction Manager, and Field Supervisors to ensure project success and profitability.
Must develop systems and controls to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Reviews, investigates, and evaluates potential customer accounts to identify opportunities consistent with marketing objectives.
Works closely with Business Development, Corrosion Service Line Leads, and SMEs to generate new business and provide best value-added solutions to existing and new clients.
Develops specific strategies to secure business.
Visits prospective job sites to determine and evaluate the extent of work, job site conditions, and develop other pertinent information prior to bid submission.
Prepares sketches and works with Drafter to develop construction drawings as dictated by project requirements.
Collects all job costing data (materials, labor, equipment, subcontracts) and prepares job cost reports as required by the project.
Actively participates in weekly branch meeting rhythms including job forecasting, HSE, AR, etc.
Formulates and prepares proposals after estimates are complete.
Prepares bills of material and equipment for pricing and/or purchase and submits to Buyer.
Checks warehouse for availability of material requirements for jobs.
Coordinates all material requirements for jobs.
Prepares work orders and forwards to Job Superintendents outlining scope of work.
Investigates safety aspects of projects and prepares pre-job safety checklists.
Adheres to and enforces safety policies and promotes safety among Job Superintendents and field employees.
Participates in project safety meetings.
Schedules meetings or advises customers of contract details, project planning, design changes, technical problems, pricing, invoicing, additions or changes to the scope and/or contract.
Visits job sites to check work in progress.
Monitors and recommends methods, materials, and layouts for improvement based on needs and capabilities.
Prepares job labor analysis information and field reporting forms.
Assists in the project Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) process.
Reviews completed jobs and analyzes labor, equipment, and material costs.
Initiates progress billings and final billing of lump sum projects.
Maintains flexibility to handle several projects concurrently.
Supports Company in sales efforts to develop and strengthen customer relationships.

Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) in fields such as:
Construction Management
Industrial Technology
Materials Science (especially with focus on coatings or chemistry)
Vocational or Trade School Certification in relevant areas.
Minimum of 7 - 10 years of applicable coatings, linings, and concrete coating construction experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Strong customer orientation.
3 to 5 years supervisory experience.
CAD knowledge and experience is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to produce results through others.
Planning/Management skills.
Technical skills in engineering management, quality assurance, and costing.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds, with a maximum single-person lift of 50 pounds.
Sufficient communication capabilities.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
Sufficient vision or other powers of observation.
Sufficient manual dexterity.
Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes.
