7 months temp to permThe Inventory Management (Kitter) will be responsible for accurate and timely picking and kitting of customer order materials. The individual will spend time each day creating "kits" of materials for assemblies based off the production schedule. Will assign a location and quantity of all product parts. Will update, track status and issue all assembly kits required for projects. Provides information to begin kit assembly, ex. drawings, picklist, shop order reports, etc. Will perform audits of chemical products' shelf life to determine if any products have expired.Essential Functions:Obtaining daily production schedules and identifying the required materials for the quantity scheduled to run.Locating the necessary materials, pulling them from their location and recording the transaction in ERP system.Processing these raw materials to the correct specifications.Responsible for the continuous supply of parts and materials to all production and assembly personnel.Responsible for "kitting" materials on the production line to ensure all parts of the order required are at the point of origination to keep the line moving at a steady pace.Ensures correct parts are kept in the appropriate quantities to support production and assembly requirements.Expediting and moving production parts; picking parts for point of use and Kanban; deal with and address shortages and urgent issues affecting production.Strong attention to detail and time management.Ability to work in teams.Strong written and oral communication skills.Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Edge.Able to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately.Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills through a combination of education and experience.o High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of six (6) years of prior kitting/picking experience.o 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of two (2) years of prior kitting/picking experience.Must be a US Citizen.Preferred Additional Skills:SAP preferred.Experience with data management/processing preferred.We encourage Minorities, Women, Protected Veterans and Disabled individuals to apply for all positions that they may be qualified for.
