Job Description
1. Project Planning and Execution:Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management for Waterfall projects.For Agile projects, create and manage the product backlog, sprints, and release planning.2. Team Coordination:Lead cross-functional teams in both Agile and Waterfall environments, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives in Agile projects.3. Stakeholder Management:Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide regular updates, and manage expectations across different project phases.Conduct project reviews, status meetings, and documentation updates in Waterfall projects.Ensure quality standards are met in both Agile and Waterfall projects through rigorous testing and validation processes.Identify and mitigate risks proactively, tailoring risk management strategies to fit the project methodology.4. Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed project documentation for Waterfall projects and ensure Agile project artifacts (e.g., user stories, sprint reports) are up to date.5. Process Improvement:Continuously evaluate project performance and recommend process improvements for both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Requirements
Skills:Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) in both Agile and Waterfall contexts.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple projects with varying methodologies simultaneously.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Experience in stakeholder management and client-facing roles.Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of experience in software project management.Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CSM (Certified ScrumMaster), or equivalent are preferred.
