Brand Marketing Strategist
We are looking for dedicated employees to join our team to help our customers have the best experience possible every time they enter a JD Finish Line store.Our employees are key to our success.As a Marketing Strategist, you’ll support the development and execution of marketing programs to drive brand growth and customer acquisition. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams (retail, creative, brand, owned channels, external brand partners) to develop and deliver a full-funnel, integrated strategy. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial self-starter, collaborative teammate and well-versed in the latest consumer trends and marketing platforms.What you’ll do:Support the development of integrated marketing programs (from brief, conceptualization, execution and post launch analysis) with internal and external partners.Assist in managing brand partner relationships with seasonal sell-in moments, campaign development and partnership strategy alignment.Assist in development of seasonal sell-in and sell-thru strategies for key category marketing stories across retail, digital, social, traditional and digital media and out of home.Communicate effectively across the organization to ensure that objectives are well defined and deliver a consistent brand message for key campaigns.Have a pulse on marketing and consumer trends both within and beyond the athletic specialty category, with a specific focus on retail.Serve as the primary contact for buyers, brand partners and channels across marketing campaigns and launches.Work cross-functionally with teams to ensure all channel and tactical plans, messaging and creative materials are aligned.Analyze and optimize campaigns across owned channels to identify areas of innovation and opportunity.Required Education and/or Experience:2-5 years experience in marketing or similar. Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience required.Physical Demands:Sit for more than 6 hours per shift.Use hands to finger, handle and feel.Reach with hands and arms.Talk and/or hear.Stand for up to 2 hours at a time regularly.Walk or move from one location to another regularly.Periodically may need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.Punctuality and regular attendance consistent with the company’s policies are required for the position.Average work week is 40-45 hours, which can vary depending on business need.The work environment for this position is a moderately noisy office setting.The company reserves the right to modify this job description with or without notice.
