Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.In the role of Alaska Federal Program Manager, we'll count on you to:Contribute to the strategic direction of the Federal programs resulting in continuous program growthWork with client managers to update and execute client plansUnderstand and communicate client organizationDevelop and communicate awareness of upcoming opportunities and pursuits to include new service offerings and ensure tracking information is entered into HDR Business Opportunity Tracking SystemsEnsure Client Plans are current and are being executedSchedule and conduct periodic client management team meetings with relevant HDR PMs and Contract Managers and Business Class and Business Group representativesParticipate in management reviews as necessary and communicate periodically with Contract Managers to maintain awareness of HDR support to ClientDevelop and maintain relationships in the client organization to best ensure awareness of needs, directions, and delivery issuesPeriodically communicate with relevant parts of client organization to gauge satisfaction and identify concerns with HDR support, and coordinate actions necessary to respond to issuesIdentify contract opportunities and lead/participate in pursuits and proposals as requiredLead contract utilization efforts for select clients and contractsIdentify and integrate small business teaming partnersAssist in resolving issues on problem projectsAssist in identifying and negotiating with potential Joint Venture partnersPlan, direct, and monitor multidiscipline projects with a high degree of technical complexity. Projects typically are more than $5 million and involve leading a cross-discipline team to executeExecute and deliver on multiple projects concurrentlyConduct schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with other project and program managers, appropriate technical professionals, and other functional disciplinesCoordinate staffing and workload through entire project development lifecycle to meet project delivery scheduleWork with HDR leadership which includes Business/Accounting Managers, Project Controllers, Regional Manager and Department Managers for routine project reviewsSupervise project staff and act as mentor for less-experienced staffThis position is subject to a governmental background check.Preferred Qualifications:5 years federal project management experienceExperience working with A/E/C consulting firmsExperience with USACE, AFCEC, or NGB agenciesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering10 years related experienceA minimum 5 years project management experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseMS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be a plus)Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We Believe:
