LexisNexis Risk .About the RoleThe VP Product Management for Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) will be responsible for overall product portfolio strategy and execution, embedding product management excellence in their organization, developing strong relationships with key internal and external partners, and serving as a thought leader for the company. This individual will also have direct management responsibility for people leaders, product managers, and user experience professionals.ResponsibilitiesCustomer Focus• Establishes long term, robust customer relationships and engagement with customers.• Understands trends across other industries and draws insights on convergence over the long-term.• Serves as the voice of the customer in industry events and is a recognized thought leader.• Is heavily involved in the industry and develops relationships with start-ups.• Adapts the product strategy as needed based on market changes.Data-Driven Decision-Making & Analysis• Expert at analyzing relative value of alternative approaches.• Expert at customer analytics and identifying the right data for making decisions.• Makes significant contributions to testing platforms and data-driven processes for the broader company.• Expert at identifying and defining the most critical factors in the competitive landscape.• Ensures alignment with all groups around the key KPIs to be achieved with products and internal processes.Go to Market & Product Marketing Lifecycle• Works collaboratively with all necessary stakeholders to develop a clear and compelling go-to-market strategy, messaging, positioning, and themes for a sizeable product suite.• Defines, leads, and adapts a go-to-market vision for the portfolio to meet or exceed revenue goals and succeed in current and future market conditions.• Ensures coordinated execution and communication of the strategy across relevant stakeholder groups.• Acts as portfolio thought leader and evangelist internally and externally.• Ensures lessons learned from strategy and launch plan ROI are translated into changes in future strategy and plans.• Innovates on new approaches and tools for strategy and launch.Product Delivery & Development Lifecycle• Recognized as a leading company-wide product expert.• Critical driver or owner of the product lifecycle, strategy, and business cases.• Oversees innovation that represents significant contributions to the company.• Familiar with leading processes outside of the company and spends time in external communities.• Works with team and other groups to improve broader processes for the company.• Understands how to create and orchestrate a product portfolio (platform/ecosystem).Strategy & Commercial Acumen• Demonstrates a deep understanding of the political, economic, and environmental context in which the market operates and links this to the portfolio strategy.• Defines and leads a product portfolio vision, articulating the goals across relevant stakeholder groups.• Uses data to recognize longer-term trends and drives portfolio plans to take advantage of potential commercial opportunities.• Takes a long-term view, devising penetration and protection strategies to maintain a strong competitive position.Technical Skills• Understands the relationship between the company platform and technology.• Knowledgeable about emerging technologies and those of our competitors.• Constantly alert to opportunities for product improvement through different or new applications of technology.RequirementsMinimum of 15 years experience in product managementOwnership of a sizeable product suite with investment decision and strategy accountabilityFCC experienceBachelors or Masters degree in a technical subject (Computer Science or Engineering discipline) is preferred, but not essentialMBA or management degree or Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist certification strongly desirableThis role is based in either the US or Europe and will require international travel around the globe up to 20% of the timeAt LexisNexis Risk Solutions, having diverse employees with different perspectives is key to creating innovative new products for our global customers.
