The Morgan Stanley Real Assets organization is in the midst of a digital transformation and is looking for a bold and innovative leader who can hit the ground running to continue to steer the organization through change. This leader will join the Data, Analytics and Digital Transformation team to deliver on the vision of digital first and data-driven business. They will collaborate with teams across the organization to create a collaborative change culture and most importantly enhance the experience for our stakeholders and clients to ensure their needs are met.

The Digital Transformation Lead is responsible for delivering successful outcomes for key business transformation initiatives via effective and pragmatic process and project management. Champion and transform our strategy and business processes to deliver a best-in-class digital ecosystem. The business processes managed by this role will be significant in scale and business impact. There will be a requirement to manage several transformation projects concurrently.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (however not limited to):

Translate business goals into process reengineering initiatives, including business case development, prioritization, and reporting progress against objectives.Conduct end-to-end customer journey map reviews and engage cross-functional teams on process optimization opportunities.Think like an owner - proactively suggest solutions to stakeholders to exceed expectations on business goals.Gain acceptance of ideas and suggestions from senior business executives.Define and manage project structures including stakeholders, staffing, timelines, and deliverables.Manage and nurture relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met, and provide regular updates and insights in a collaborative and client-focused approach.Partner with engineering teams to design and implement best-of-breed digital product solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to manage/deliver projects end-to-end across various business functions.Drive change management, stakeholder communication, user training during project/product delivery phases.Adapt leadership style and management to situation at hand. Adjusts departmental priorities and resource allocations to support changing needs.Perform after action reviews to ensure the intended result was achieved.Curate a backlog of incremental enhancements for continuous improvement.Maintain process documentation as ongoing reference material for the business.Proactively scan the market for innovative technologies and vendors that have the potential to accelerate business goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree required in Information Science, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or related field.5+ years of relevant digital transformation experience.Experience delivering via the Agile Methodology.Proven track record of managing and delivering successful global, enterprise-wide, business transformation, and multi-disciplinary change initiatives.Ability to lead, develop and execute multiple projects that involve a high degree of ambiguity.Anticipates changes in the external environment, stakeholder/client demand, new technologies and the capability of the business model to address emerging changes in customer needs.Experience soliciting business requirements for the purpose of improving and/or formalizing processes.Demonstrable ability of delivery in relation to cost, time and quality of outcome.Mastered data storytelling, and influences business decisions with insights derived from data.Exercises judgment, based on previous experience, practices and precedents, to identify and solve problems that arise with little or no precedent.Strong communication skills.Strong work ethic, proactive and motivated.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Working within financial services, investment management or real estate investment management.Working with early-stage startups.Experience managing and negotiating vendor and third-party agreements.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $140,000 and $175,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
