Advanced Analytics Manager
develops analytics and insights that support a diverse stakeholder group at Molson Coors. Conducts and leads the coordination of in-depth analysis of diverse primary and secondary data, including syndicated sources (i.e., loyalty card data and Circana data), primary research, and category learnings to develop insights that can be leveraged into strategy.Identifies ways to turn custom analyses into production methodologies that can be easily replicated and embedded into functional insight teams. Applies a broad range of analytical methodologies to solve business problems (ANOVA, Multiple Regression, Logistic Regression, cluster analysis, etc.) and provides analytic consulting to support the development of tools.The Responsibilities:
Connect the dots between all studies (custom, tracking, secondary, trade, local, etc.) in the Insights department (primary, secondary, tracking, consumer, trade, multicultural, etc.)Leads the development and analysis of some large-scale research studies, including both qualitative and quantitative, usually across multiple brands and channels (or applies a segment, cross-brand filter for category-wide investments, such as segmentation research)Defines the research agenda and analysis techniques to answer key brand, segment, and category-level questionsLeads all commercial business intelligence efforts including score carding, business drivers, and consumption forecastingThrough project design, execution, analysis, and insight sharing, creates a base of insights that are used to impact brand strategyIdentifies and manages partner relationships, driving “efficient quality” of deliverables, but also greater depth of value-added knowledgeContinuously seeks new and innovative ways to bring external thinking to our business practice; works with all vendors to drive best-in-class and cutting-edge learning in all projects as neededThe Other Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (5+ years of market research experience)Master’s degree preferred (social sciences, MBA, research focus preferred)Demonstrated hands-on experience in applied analyticsStrong custom research expertise, including broad range of qualitative and quantitative techniques and their business applicationDemonstrated ability to leverage both analytics and conceptual application of learning (strategic thinking)Excellent technical skills in Microsoft EXCEL, SQL & SAS or equivalent statistical software and/or programming languageExperience with data visualization tools (i.e., Tableau)Statistical analysis experience and ability to design custom research and/or apply appropriate analytic methodologiesWork Perks that You Need to Know About:
