Overview
The Business Operations Analyst in Denver, CO, is responsible for driving SKU rationalization and managing inventory processes and controls. The role requires understanding business operations to analyze data related to S&OP, inventory, new product introductions/SKU planning, breakage, and out-of-stocks. This position reports to the Procurement Manager. The Responsibilities :
Purchasing (50%) Assist Beer Purchasing Analyst with ordering CDC beverage products using supplier tools (spreadsheets, web applications) Product Management (50%) : Participate in and prepare for S&OP meetings, including SKU rationalization recommendations. Monitor and report on inventory levels, DOI, and products nearing expiration. Lead SKU rationalization efforts by identifying trends and recommending solutions to reduce or eliminate underperforming SKUs in collaboration with Brand Management. Work closely with inventory and warehouse teams to proactively manage on-hand inventories, focusing on overages, out-of-stocks, date issues, or shortages. Provide inventory analysis and insights as needed Other duties as assigned Provide backup support to Beer Purchasing Analyst and Procurement Manager when necessary The Other Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred. 3-5 years of relevant Supply Chain experience Strong technology skills with the ability to translate data into business insights. Excellent organizational skills and multitasking abilities. Ability to interpret business data and present it visually or in reports for leadership review. Must be detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy Ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills for working with management, staff, vendors, and customers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Self-starter with strong initiative Desire for continuous learning, development, and process improvement. Work Perks :
