Praescient Analytics is seeking a
Senior Program Manager – Grant Management
that will function as a leader providing data analysis for the Department of Justice (DOJ). The DOJ currently has an active grant-making component within the Office of Justice Programs (OJP). Their goal is to assist federal leadership in developing the nation's capacity to prevent and control crime, improve the criminal and juvenile systems, increase knowledge about crime and related issues, and assist crime victims. In total, more than 16,000 open and active grants represent more than $18 billion, to state and local communities, tribal governments and organizations. This program will provide support to the OJP’s Office of Audit, Assessment, and Management (OAAM).This role will provide operational and technical support for OAAM to successfully effectuate its mission and ensure timely delivery of information and products to DOJ leadership, Congressional and other governmental inquiries. This effort includes performing tasks that support OAAM to fully leverage data as a strategic asset by supporting strong data governance, data analysis standards, and implementing data innovations that drive more value to the agency in its administration and oversight of federal financial assistance programs.
This position is based in Washington, DC, but
will allow for fully Remote delivery.Overview:The Program Manager must have demonstrated ability in independently initiating, leading, and managing large, complex support services. Must have proven ability and success leading and managing multiple simultaneous projects and a staff of senior level personnel to meet strategic goals. The Project Manager shall have demonstrated experience in full lifecycle project management including project planning, risk identification and mitigation, and estimating and monitoring costs. The Project Manager shall be responsible for overall task order performance and shall ensure that submitted deliverables are accurate, timely, and of high quality. The Project Manager will work with OAAM leadership at critical points during the workflow process to ensure all milestones, deliverables and products are being met and/or produced in a timely and high-quality fashion.
