This Senior Leadership position involves ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products, managing production schedules, optimizing processes, and leading the operations team.What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that support company objectives.Lead and manage the operations team to achieve production goals.Collaborate with executive leadership to set long-term manufacturing goals and objectives.Oversee all manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient and timely production of products.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Identify potential risks in the manufacturing process and develop mitigation strategies.Oversee inventory management to minimize waste and reduce costs.Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, controlling costs while optimizing resources.Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality.Recruit, train, and develop staff.Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.Maintain high standards of quality throughout the manufacturing process.Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular audits.Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data to drive operational improvements.What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)Required ExperienceMinimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Excellent organizational and strategic planning skills.Proficiency in manufacturing software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Education & CertificationsBachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.The role involves frequent work in a non-climate controlled, safety-sensitive manufacturing and foundry environment with heavy equipment.May require extended hours during peak production periods or to address urgent issues.How we live our cultureOur culture is at the center of what we do, and more importantly, who we are.
