Responsibilities:Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from vendors.Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs.Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.Provides quality service by following organization standards.Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Completes reports by entering required information.Maintains tool inventory control and calibrations system.Provides pre-processing and sorting of IT materials.Shrink wraps, labels, bands, and stores pallets on outbound shelving.Loads pallets onto outbound tractor trailers using sponsor-furnished forklifts.Accompanies material to secure destruction sites as needed.May provide work leadership to less-experienced technicians.Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.Participates in special projects as required.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Qualifications:3+ years of directly related experience supporting warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping and receiving operations.Must have high school diploma or equivalent GED.Must be knowledgeable with computers and have high attention to detail involving data entry.Must possess a current forklift certification (preferred) or have ability to obtain one within 30 days of start of employment.Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.The candidate may be required to wear steel toe footwear at times, and use sponsor-provided personal protective equipment (protective eyewear, face shields, gloves, aprons, respirators, and head protection) in conjunction with engineering controls and safety operation procedures.
