Aviation Director of Maintenance

Seeking a qualified Director of Maintenance for our fleet of turboprop and piston engine aircraft. We specialize in amphibious aircraft management, charter and maintenance throughout South Florida and the Northeast.
Aircraft types:
Kodiak 100, Cessna 208 & Cessna 185
Duties:
Ensures operation of aircraft by completing maintenance requirements following manufacturer's instructions and industry best practices.
Understands and complies with CESCOM/CAMP reporting requirements and checklists.
Maintains the stability and reputation of the company by understanding and complying with Federal Aviation Administration and other legal requirements.
Experience with General Aviation 100 hour, CESCOM/CAMP and Annual Inspection requirements.
Manage all aspects of aircraft maintenance and ensure all work is scheduled and performed in a safe and efficient manner.
Training, mentoring and performance management of the maintenance team.
Drive compliance with all regulations for aviation maintenance operations and inspection functions while ensuring regulatory changes are incorporated into company processes.
Ensure availability of materials, anticipating requirements and reordering in a cost effective and timely fashion.
Develop and review work orders regarding modifications and/or upgrades to aircraft systems.
Read and interpret manufacturers and company’s maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical orders, and other specifications to determine means of compliance and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
Develop aviation maintenance strategies by analyzing department costs and maintenance forecasts and incorporating proactive tactics into the business plan determining resource requirements evaluating operational processes; establishing requests for capital expenditures and developing budgets that maximize safety and control costs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Applicants MUST be a US Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
Applicants must have proficient English speaking and writing skills.
5+ years Experience as an A&P.
5 years of recent General Aviation Piston and PT-6 experience.
3+ years of proven leadership or management experience.
Amphibious aircraft maintenance experience is a plus.
Inspection Authorization required.
Pilots License is a plus.
Benefits:
Pay: $105,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year.
