The Project Manager role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all activities of assigned Aloha POS programming, installation, and training projects to ensure that the goals of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget. This customer-facing role requires significant work at customer locations as well as remotely. Strong interpersonal, communication, listening, and retention skills are essential. The role evaluates each project based on the scope and works with the implementation coordinator to create a project timeline and coordinate all necessary resources. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work concurrently on various projects while maintaining high performance standards are required. Scheduling, meeting agreed-upon timelines, and holding customers accountable to their installation schedules will be key to success in this role. Updating and maintaining detailed paperwork, sign-offs, and company databases in a timely manner are also required. The ideal candidate will collaborate with end-users and management to resolve challenging issues under time constraints.Duties and Responsibilities:Programs Aloha POS software suite for restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and quick service businesses.Trains applicable customer employees on using the Aloha POS system.Provides on-site go-live support for new customers to assist with operations.Manages all aspects of the Aloha POS system installation.Reviews project to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.Establishes work plans and staffing for each project phase and manages all resources required to complete the project.Confers with implementation and installation staff to outline work plans and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.Reviews and updates status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules as required.Prepares project reports for management, clients, or others.Confers with customers and project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems.Manages project calendar in the Goldmine CRM system.Travels throughout Southern California and occasionally nationally, as required, to perform system installations and customer training.Qualifications:2-year technical degree and/or 2+ years of related experience with Windows applications.A working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products and Microsoft OS (Win7/Win10).Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.Technical schooling, A+, MCP, or MCSE certification.1-2 years of experience with the Aloha POS system.1-2 years working in the hospitality industry with knowledge of restaurant and hospitality operations.Consulting experience is a plus.Working Conditions:Extensive desk-based work involving prolonged periods using a computer and sitting for extended periods.Frequent interaction with team members, management, agents, Business Development Managers (BDMs), and external partners to facilitate smooth operations and collaborations.Travel:50%-75% travel required for this role.Job Classification:ExemptAt Payroc, we are committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
