TitleRestaurant Software Implementation SpecialistMerchant Boarding & Business ServicesReports toManager, Professional ServicesPosition OverviewThe Project Manager role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all of the activities of assigned Aloha POS programming, installation and training projects to ensure that the goals of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget. This is a customer facing role that requires a significant amount of work to be done at customer locations as well as remotely. This position demands strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing and strong listening and retention skills. This role will evaluate each project based on the scope and work with the implementation coordinator to create a project timeline and coordinate all resources that may be necessary to complete the work. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work concurrently on a variety of projects using clear judgment while maintaining a high work performance standard. Scheduling, meeting an agreed upon schedule and holding customers accountable to their installation schedules will be key to the success of the individual in this role. Updating and maintaining detailed paperwork, signoffs and updating company databases in a timely manner are also requirements of the position. The ideal candidate will be willing to work with end-users and management to resolve difficult issues at times while under time constraints. Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrograms Aloha POS software suite for restaurants, bars, nightclubs, quick service businesses.Trains applicable customer employees how to use the Aloha POS systemProvide on-site go live support for new customers to assist with operations.Manages all aspects of the Aloha POS system installation.Reviews project to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projectEstablishes the work plan and staffing for each phase of project and manages all resources required to complete the project.Confers with implementation and installation staff to outline a work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.Reviews and updates status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.Confers with customer and project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problemsManages project calendar in the Goldmine CRM system.Travels throughout Southern California and occasionally nationally, as required, to perform system installations and customer training.Qualifications2-year technical degree and/or 2+ year's related experience with windows applicationsA working knowledge of Microsoft office suite of products, Microsoft OS (Win7/Win10)Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in related fieldTechnical schooling, A+, MCP, or MCSE certification1-2 years of experience with Aloha POS system 1-2 years working in the hospitality industry and working knowledge of restaurants and hospitality operationsConsulting experience is a plusWorking ConditionsExtensive desk-based work involving prolonged periods using a computer and sitting for extended periodsFrequent interaction with team members, management, agents, Business Development Managers (BDMs), and external partners to facilitate smooth operations and collaborationsTravel50%-75% travel required for this role.Job Classification ExemptAt Payroc, we are committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
