ClearNote Health develops clinical tests to detect cancer when it can still be cured. We are seeking an Enterprise Applications Developer to join the team. Based in San Diego, this role is responsible for the architecture, support, maintenance, deployment, and enhancement of a suite of business applications.Using your software engineering expertise, you will lead the development of our clinical laboratory large-scale next generation DNA sequencing analysis pipelines. This role will help enable the accurate and timely delivery of results from our cancer liquid biopsy molecular diagnostic assay, improving the outcomes for cancer patients by detecting cancer early. Your creative insights and solutions you develop will save lives.In this position you will:Design, develop, and deploy enterprise solutions on cloud platforms servicing internal and external stakeholders in a laboratory setting.Lead cross-functional teams in determining requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions.Conduct code reviews to maintain high quality code and identify opportunities for improvement.Develop integrations between cloud platforms and other enterprise systems.Ensure seamless data flows and interoperability among different cloud services and on-premises solutions.Design and implement API strategies for efficient communication among applications.Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry best practices.Conduct regular security assessments and own measures to mitigate risks.Create high quality documentation for applications, integrations, and configurations.Empower internal teams on business applications through your expert training and support.Be insatiably curious about emerging technologies and identify opportunities.Lead us in introducing and implementing innovative solutions to drive us towards our ambitious health care goals.Maintain high availability in the applications you are developing and overseeing. Support teammates by fixing incidents and outages quickly.Position Skills and Background for Success:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field with 5+ years of direct business applications development experience.Deep expertise in managing the design, development, implementation, and support of business applications.Ability to critically evaluate business systems and identify opportunities for improvement.Experience developing elegant APIs supporting flexible, seamless integrations.Experience with database management systems including Snowflake, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL.Previous experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and ELNs (Electronic Lab Notebook) such as LabVantage and Benchling preferred.Knowledge of the following platforms preferred:Low code Platforms: Microsoft Power Platform or Oracle APEXCRM (Customer Relationship Management): SalesforceData Engineering and Integration: Snowflake, DBT, HighTouch, AirByte, PostmanBI (Business Intelligence): Sigma or TableauXaaS (Cloud Computing Environments): Azure, AWS (Amazon Web Services)ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning): NetSuiteExperience and a desire to manage teams of software developers and other technical staff.A love of project management, applying it to drive towards your goals, keeping to budgets, timelines, and resources.Excellent interpersonal, teaming, written and spoken communication skills.Individual compensation is based on the following factors: Job-relevant skills/expertise/experience, relevant education/training, track record of success exceeding expectations and geographic location. The typical salary range for this position is estimated at $130,000- $150,000 assuming based in the San Diego metro area.
